Join the Caligo test
the short version
- Caligo is in free early access on Google Play right now, with every feature unlocked. No ads, no subscriptions, no Pro tier.
- Getting in takes three steps: join the testers group, opt in, then install.
- Use the same Google account for all three steps, and the same one that is on your phone.
Caligo is not on the public store yet. It is in early access, so you join through a short opt-in first. Three steps, a few minutes, and you are running the full app for free.
1. Join the testers group
Join the Caligo testers group with the Google account you use on your phone. This is what tells Google Play you are allowed in. Anyone can join.
2. Opt in to the test
Open the opt-in link and tap "Become a tester." Do this after you have joined the group, on the same account. It unlocks the Caligo listing for you.
3. Install Caligo
Open the Google Play listing on your phone and install Caligo like any other app. If it still says the app is not available, give it a few minutes after opting in, then refresh.
Why an opt-in and not just a download
Early access on Google Play runs as a closed test, so new builds go to testers first before the public listing opens. It is the same app, just an extra step to get in while it is in this phase. You can leave the test and uninstall at any time.
